The LFKHYT50CME is a Hi-Viz Speedwinder tape, yellow clad blade finish, 164 ft blade length, steel blade, B14 blade style, 0.375 inch blade width, metric, 1.2 inch overall height, 8.7 inch overall length.

Two specifications here do real work. The Speedwinder name refers to the winding mechanism — a geared reel that retrieves the blade in far fewer turns than a direct-drive one. At 164 ft that is not a small thing. Winding 50 metres of tape back by hand, several times a day, is the reason long tapes get left stretched across a site instead of being reeled in.

Yellow clad is the blade finish and it addresses visibility of a genuinely dangerous kind. A steel tape stretched across ground is nearly invisible, and people trip over it. It also gets driven over, walked on, and cut by machinery. A yellow blade is seen.

Note that this is a steel blade, unlike the fiberglass tapes in this range — which means it conducts. It should not be used near overhead lines or energised equipment, where fiberglass is the correct choice.
