Weldas ADP44-2028XXL Alliance Standard Cape Sleeves 2XL Golden brown

The Weldas ADP44-2028XXL is the 2XL size in the Alliance Standard cape sleeves range, supplied in golden brown leather.

This is the size for larger-framed welders, and the fit difference is functional rather than cosmetic. Cape sleeves depend on the cuff closing at the glove and the shoulder yoke sitting where it should; on an undersized garment, the cuff rides back and the shoulders bind when the welder reaches or works overhead. The 2XL is cut to hold coverage through full extension.

The garment is fully Kevlar sewn. Kevlar thread is the standard on leather welding gear because spatter destroys conventional thread long before it damages the leather — a garment that fails at the seam is a garment thrown away with most of its life left.

Features include adjustable snap cuffs to close the sleeve at the glove, riveted stress points at high-load areas, a roll-up collar for neck coverage during out-of-position work, and hook and loop closures with an open back for fast on and off and for heat release.

Applications cover MIG, stick, and TIG welding, torch and plasma cutting, grinding, foundry and casting operations, and general fabrication where arm and shoulder protection is required without the heat load of a full jacket.

Size 2XL, golden brown. Pair with a bib where chest and lap coverage is also needed.
