Weldas ADP44-2028L Alliance Standard Cape Sleeves Large Golden brown

The Weldas ADP44-2028L is a pair of Alliance Standard cape sleeves in size Large, finished in golden brown leather. Cape sleeves cover the arms, shoulders, and upper chest while leaving the back open — the configuration welders choose when a full jacket is more heat than the job justifies, but bare arms are not an option.

The sleeves are fully Kevlar sewn. This is the specification to check on any leather welding garment: ordinary thread burns or melts through under spatter and the seam opens, leaving the leather intact but the garment useless. Kevlar thread does not, which is what keeps the seams closed over the working life of the garment.

Construction details include adjustable snap cuffs, which close the gap at the glove so sparks cannot travel up the sleeve; riveted stress points at the areas that see the most pull; a roll-up collar for neck coverage when overhead or out-of-position work demands it; and hook and loop closures with an open back for quick on and off.

Applications include MIG, stick, and TIG welding, torch and plasma cutting, grinding, foundry and casting work, and general fabrication where arm and shoulder protection is required but a full jacket would be excessive.

Size Large, golden brown. Cape sleeves are commonly paired with a bib for chest and lap coverage, and this range is built to that combination.
