The DiversiTech 6-34-6NM-2 is a 3/4 inch electrical whip, a prefabricated flexible conduit and conductor assembly for connecting outdoor HVAC equipment to a disconnect switch.

The 3/4 inch trade size accommodates larger conductors than the 1/2 inch version, suiting equipment with higher minimum circuit ampacity such as larger residential condensing units, light commercial packaged equipment, and three phase outdoor sections. Conduit size must be adequate for the conductors installed, and the larger trade size also eases the pull and reduces conductor damage during installation.

Prefabricated whips address the practical requirements of the final equipment connection: flexibility to absorb compressor and fan vibration, weather resistance for an outdoor wet location, and enough slack for the unit to be shifted during service without disturbing the disconnect.
