All-Source DIBFE-35TDO(01) 14 In. 3-Speed 2450 CFM High Velocity Fan

The All-Source DIBFE-35TDO(01) is a 14 inch 3-speed high velocity fan rated at 2450 CFM.

High velocity describes what this fan is built to do and how it differs from a comfort fan. A ceiling or pedestal fan is designed to move a large volume of air gently across a room; a high velocity fan concentrates airflow into a directed column with the speed to actually travel. That throw is what makes it useful for the jobs it is bought for: pushing air through a space rather than stirring it, drying floors and paint, ventilating a work area, and exhausting fumes from a bay.

At 2450 CFM in a 14 inch diameter, the specification is doing real work relative to its size. CFM per inch of blade is the honest measure of a fan of this type, and a compact high velocity fan achieves its output through blade pitch and speed rather than sheer diameter.

The three-speed control matters more than it appears. High velocity fans are frequently too much at full speed for the space they are in — the ability to turn one down is what allows it to be used for ventilation without blowing a work area apart.

The 14 inch size is portable, sitting on a floor or a bench and moving with the work.

Applications include workshops, garages, job sites, drying after cleaning or painting, spot cooling, and general ventilation.
