Procell DURPX1500 Alkaline Battery Bulk Intense 1.5 V AA 3016 mAh

The Duracell DURPX1500 is a Procell Intense alkaline battery in AA size, model PX1500, rated 1.5 V with a capacity of 3,016 mAh. Supplied bulk, 24 per box, 6 boxes per case.

This cell carries exactly the same rated capacity as the Procell Constant AA — 3,016 mAh in both. That identity is the most useful thing on the specification sheet, because it removes any temptation to choose between the lines on capacity. They hold the same energy. They differ in how they deliver it.

Intense is formulated for high-drain devices: equipment pulling substantial current, often in bursts, where an ordinary alkaline cell's voltage sags under load. The device sees that sag as reduced output or an early shutdown, even though the chemistry still holds charge. An Intense cell sustains voltage under that draw, which is where the real-world gain appears — in the device working properly, not in a longer number.

The applications that justify it are specific: high-output flashlights, powered handheld equipment, motorised devices, wireless equipment with transmit bursts, and security and safety hardware.

For a facility's steady-drain AA population — clocks, remotes, sensors, dispensers — the Constant line is the correct and cheaper answer.

Bulk packaging at 24 per box is the institutional format.

Applications include facilities maintenance, security and public safety, healthcare, and industrial operations.
