Procell DURPX1400 Alkaline Battery Bulk Intense 1.5 V C 8,240 mAh

The Duracell DURPX1400 is a Procell Intense alkaline battery in C size, model PX1400, rated 1.5 V with a capacity of 8,240 mAh. Supplied bulk, 12 per box, 6 boxes per case.

The Intense formulation targets high-drain devices — equipment that pulls hard current, frequently in bursts, where an ordinary alkaline cell's voltage collapses under load and the device dims, slows, or shuts down while the cell still holds charge. Matching the cell to that draw is what recovers that unused capacity.

The comparison with the Constant C cell is instructive: 8,240 mAh here against 8,100 mAh for the PC1400. That is a difference of under two percent, which makes the point plainly — these two lines are not a good/better pairing, and buying Intense expecting more capacity misunderstands the product. Intense is a different discharge characteristic for a different device behaviour. The gain shows up in the device's performance under load, not in a bigger number on the box.

C size is chosen where an AA would run out too quickly and a D would be too bulky: medium flashlights, lanterns, portable radios, and a range of purpose-built equipment.

Bulk packaging at 12 per box, 6 boxes per case is the institutional format — issued from a stores cupboard, not sold on a peg.

Applications include facilities maintenance, security and public safety, healthcare, industrial operations, and emergency equipment.

Users include facilities managers, maintenance departments, and institutional procurement.
