Procell DURPC2400 Alkaline Battery Bulk Constant 1.5 V AAA 1236 mAh

The Duracell DURPC2400 is a Procell Constant alkaline battery in AAA size, model PC2400, rated 1.5 V with a capacity of 1,236 mAh. Supplied bulk, 24 per box, 6 boxes per case.

AAA has grown into a major institutional size for the same reason it has in households: equipment keeps getting smaller. Wireless peripherals, remotes, handheld scanners, headsets, digital thermometers, and small instrumentation have migrated from AA to AAA, and facilities have followed.

The Constant designation identifies the discharge profile. Procell formulates by how a device draws rather than by tier, and Constant is built for steady, moderate, continuous current — which fits most of the institutional AAA population: remotes, sensors, clocks, and general instrumentation. High-drain intermittent devices belong on the Intense line.

The 1,236 mAh capacity is worth reading against the AA figure of 3,016 mAh in the same line. Same voltage, less than half the energy — that is the cost of the smaller format, and it is why AAA devices need changing more often. For a facilities operation, that translates directly into labour: more devices, more frequent rounds.

Bulk packaging at 24 per box, 6 boxes per case is the format for a stores cupboard rather than a shelf.

Applications include facilities maintenance, healthcare, hospitality, education, government, and industrial operations running AAA equipment at scale.

Users include facilities managers, maintenance departments, and institutional procurement.
