Mitchell Metal Vacuum Pump AC Adapter For Max Evacuation

The Mitchell Metal MEACA is an AC power adapter for MaxEvac cordless vacuum pumps.

Battery powered vacuum pumps have become practical for field evacuation, and their appeal is obvious: no cord, no generator, and no search for a working receptacle on a roof or a construction site.

The limitation is runtime. Evacuation is not a quick operation, particularly on larger systems or where a deep vacuum is required, and a battery that lasts through a small split system may not last through a commercial job.

An AC adapter resolves this by allowing the same pump to run from mains power where it is available, reserving battery operation for locations where it is not. A single pump then covers both situations rather than requiring two.

The adapter must be matched to the specific pump, since voltage and connector arrangement are equipment specific.

For evacuation generally, the pump is rarely the limiting factor in achieving a deep vacuum; hose diameter, fitting restriction, and Schrader cores usually dominate. A pump adequate on paper may perform poorly through a restricted path.
