Duracell DURDL123AB4PK Specialty High Power Lithium Batteries

The Duracell DURDL123AB4PK is a Specialty High Power Lithium battery, DL123AB4PK, supplied 4 per pack with 36 packs per case.

The 4-pack is the specification that identifies the customer, and it is not the same person buying a 2-pack. Devices taking 123A cells frequently take two of them, so a 4-pack is two full changes — or a single change plus a spare set held in reserve. That is the buying pattern of someone who depends on the device rather than someone who owns one.

The High Power designation reflects what lithium chemistry does that alkaline cannot: deliver heavy current without the voltage collapsing under load. A high-output flashlight pulling hard current will dim an alkaline cell almost immediately; a lithium cell holds its output. That is the entire reason the 123A became the standard in tactical lighting.

Lithium's other two properties matter as much in these applications. It operates in genuine cold, where alkaline capacity falls away sharply, and it holds charge in storage for years — which is what makes it correct for equipment that must sit unused and still work on demand.

Applications include tactical and high-output flashlights, weapon lights and laser sights, security and alarm sensors, smart locks, and outdoor equipment.

Users include law enforcement, security professionals, outdoor and hunting retailers, and facilities and emergency operations.

Supplied 4 per pack, 36 packs per case.
