Coppertop DURMN1400 Alkaline Battery 1.5 V C

The Duracell DURMN1400 is a Coppertop alkaline battery in C size, model MN1400, rated 1.5 V. Supplied 12 per pack, 6 packs per case.

C is the size caught between two others, and it is worth being honest about where it belongs. It holds substantially more energy than an AA but less than a D, and it exists for devices that need more runtime than an AA can give in a package that a D would make unwieldy. Lanterns, medium flashlights, portable radios, some toys, and a range of older equipment.

The reality is that C is a slower-moving size than AA, AAA, or D in most channels, which is exactly why the 12-pack institutional format matters. A facility maintaining a fleet of equipment — a school, a municipal operation, a plant, a care home — will have a defined population of C cell devices and knows precisely how many it needs. It buys by the dozen and rotates stock. A retailer facing unpredictable demand does not.

That difference is why buying a mixed assortment in equal quantities leaves dead C inventory. Demand for this size is institutional and specific rather than broad.

Applications include facilities maintenance, institutional equipment, emergency and standby lighting, and portable radio and communications equipment.

Users include facilities managers, schools, municipal operations, care facilities, and industrial sites.

Replace cells as a complete set rather than individually.
