Scott KIM75260 Scotts White Rags in a Box 200-Ct

The Scott KIM75260 is Scott Rags In A Box, white, 200 count.

Kimberly-Clark lists these as all-purpose towels made from cellulose fibres with a latex binder — a construction that is the whole reason they behave the way they do. The latex binder gives thickness, absorbency, and wet strength, which is why the towel holds together in a hand full of solvent instead of pulping the way a paper towel does. The manufacturer describes them as feeling and performing like cloth, and rates them as absorbing twice as much and being twice as durable wet as a leading value-brand paper towel.

Manufacturer-stated sheet size is 9 x 12 inches, packed 200 per box and 8 boxes per case. Note that some distributor listings state 10 x 12 — worth confirming against the current spec sheet before publishing.

The Pop-Up box is a real feature rather than packaging. It has a built-in handle so the box goes to the job, and it dispenses one at a time, which keeps the rest clean and keeps consumption honest.

Kimberly-Clark notes these can be rinsed and reused, and that they are not recommended for direct contact with food products.

Applications include painting, polishing, detailing, spill cleanup, staining, and refinishing.

Rags carrying drying oils or finishes belong in an oily waste can, not a bin.
