The Packard 65311 is a 6 watt, 1550 RPM, 115 volt motor for small fan duty in refrigeration and light ventilation equipment.

At 6 watts this is among the smallest fan motors in commercial use, driving circulation and evaporator fans in refrigerated cabinets, display cases, and similar equipment.

Small as these motors are, they are worth inspecting during routine refrigeration maintenance. A motor that has become audibly noisy or that turns roughly by hand is approaching bearing failure, and in a refrigerated case a stopped fan produces uneven temperatures and frost accumulation on the evaporator well before anyone reports a fault.
