The Nidec/Emerson EC5411N is a unit bearing motor rated 1550 to 1725 RPM for evaporator and condenser fan applications in commercial refrigeration equipment.

Unit bearing construction supports the shaft in a single elongated sleeve bearing cartridge rather than separate bearings at each end of the frame. The result is a compact, inexpensive motor well matched to the small fan loads found throughout refrigeration equipment, and it is the standard design in walk-in coolers, reach-in cabinets, display cases, and ice machines.

The design carries a mounting constraint that must be respected.
