The Mars M09930 is a 1/20 horsepower, 1550 RPM, 115 volt clockwise rotation motor for small fan and blower applications in refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

At 1/20 horsepower this is a small fractional motor serving light fan loads: evaporator and condenser fans in refrigeration equipment, small ventilation fans, and OEM applications requiring modest air movement.

Rotation is specified as clockwise when viewed from the shaft end. In small fan motors this specification is frequently the deciding factor in whether a replacement will work, because the fan blade is handed and cannot be reversed. Where the correct rotation is not available, some small motors are supplied as reversible with the direction set by lead connection, but a fixed-rotation motor of the wrong hand is simply the wrong part.
