Igloo IGL421 400 Series Commercial and Industrial Beverage Cooler OSHA Compliant

The Igloo IGL421 is a 400 Series commercial and industrial beverage cooler, 2 gallon capacity, in yellow and red, OSHA compliant per the source specification.

The 2 gallon size is the small end of the range, and it is the personal or small-crew cooler — a two-man truck, a single operator in a remote position, an inspector's vehicle, or a supplement to a larger cooler at a distant work point.

That last case is the important one. A large cooler at the site trailer does nothing for a crew working two hundred yards away, because people do not stop and walk for water as often as they should. Heat illness develops in exactly that gap. Putting a small cooler where the work is beats a big cooler where the truck is.

The yellow and red colour scheme is the industrial convention for these coolers, and its function is visibility — a cooler that can be seen across a site is a cooler that gets used.

The 400 Series is Igloo's commercial and industrial line rather than a consumer cooler, built for site conditions rather than picnics.

Insulated plastic construction keeps contents cold through a shift.

Applications include construction, roadworks, landscaping, agriculture, utilities, and industrial operations.

Clean and sanitise on a schedule — this holds drinking water, and standing water in a warm cooler grows bacteria.

Verify the compliance claim against your own requirements before relying on it.
