The FyterTech NPSWR6010C-25 is a box of Z-Rag bulk reclaimed mixed colour cut t-shirt rags for general purpose wiping and cleaning, 25 lb box.

Note a naming inconsistency: this and the 50 lb box are described as "Mixed Color" while the 10 lb box under the same 6010C base number is described as "Color." Same product, three descriptions — worth standardising, since a customer comparing them cannot tell whether they are the same grade.

At 25 lb this is the middle box and the sensible default for most workshops: enough to last, small enough to keep somewhere clean and get through before it collects dust.

Mixed colour is the economy grade — reclaimed coloured garments rather than sorted whites. The saving is real and so is the risk: a wet coloured rag can transfer dye to a light surface. Irrelevant on a machine, unacceptable on anything finished.

Reclaimed rags in general are recycled textiles sold by weight, and the honest limitations are inconsistent sizing, occasional surviving seams or hardware, and lint. That lint rules them out of painting, coating, and surface preparation, where fibre left behind ruins the next operation and the rag is never what gets blamed.

Rags carrying oils or drying finishes go in an oily waste can. Oil oxidation is exothermic and a pile self-heats to ignition.
