The FyterTech NPSWR5010W-25 is a box of Z-Rag bulk reclaimed white cut t-shirt rags for general purpose wiping and cleaning, 25 lb box.

Reclaimed rags are recycled textiles — cut-up garments — and the economics are the entire proposition. They cost a fraction of engineered wipers and they work for the large fraction of wiping that does not require anything better: general cleanup, spills, machinery, and dirty work.

Sold by weight rather than by count, because they are not uniform.

Two honest limitations belong on any reclaimed rag.

The first is consistency. Reclaimed material is whatever came in — sizes vary, thicknesses vary, and occasional foreign matter such as seams, labels, or hardware survives the cutting process. That is fine for wiping a machine and unacceptable for a finished surface, where a hidden button or zipper scratches. Engineered wipers exist for that.

The second is lint. Cut cotton sheds, which rules it out of painting, coating, and any surface preparation where fibre left behind ruins the next operation — and the wiper is never what gets blamed.

White is the sorted grade, which means less colour transfer risk than mixed.

Rags carrying oils or drying finishes belong in an oily waste can rather than a bin. Oil oxidation is exothermic and a pile of oily rags is a genuine fire cause.
