The Williams SNP3834-ARBR-11152QC is a Bahco quick-change arbor with a 7/16 inch hex shank.

Two specifications matter and both are about how the arbor connects at each end.

Quick-change is the first. Changing hole saws on a conventional arbor means a hex key, a set screw, and a saw that has usually welded itself to the pilot drill after a hard cut. Anyone running a range of hole sizes through a job does that repeatedly. A quick-change arbor uses a collar: pull it back, the saw comes off, a new one goes on. That is seconds instead of minutes, and it is the difference between using the right saw and using the one already fitted.

The 7/16 inch hex shank is the second and it is the fitment. A hex shank does not slip in a chuck the way a round one does — and a hole saw generates enormous torque, so a slipping shank is a real problem. It also fits impact drivers and quick-change chucks directly.
