Stokolan SCJRES1L Hand Soap 1 l White Cartridge Unscented

The Stokolan SCJRES1L is a 1 l cartridge, unscented, white, 6 per case.

Note a probable mislabel: the source calls this hand soap. Stokolan is SC Johnson's skin care and restore range rather than a cleansing range, and the part number contains RES — restore. Verify the product before publishing, because a conditioning cream sold as soap will be dispensed at a wash station and used wrongly.

If it is a restore cream, the product is worth explaining, because the category is widely skipped and it is the reason industrial dermatitis is as common as it is.

Occupational skin care is a three-stage system: protect before work, cleanse during and after, restore at the end. The restore stage replaces the lipids that washing removes. Every wash strips some of the skin's own barrier, and a worker washing eight times a shift strips it faster than the skin rebuilds it. The barrier fails, the skin cracks, and cracked skin lets contaminants through — which is how a hygiene practice becomes an exposure route.

A restore cream at the end of a shift is what closes that loop. Facilities install the cleansers and skip this, then treat the dermatitis.

Unscented suits sensitive skin and fragrance-restricted environments.
