Kresto SCJKSP250ML Hand Cleaner 250 ml Beige Tube Fresh

The Kresto SCJKSP250ML is hand cleaner, 250 ml tube, fresh scent, beige, 12 per case.

Kresto is the heavy-duty end of the SC Johnson hand cleaner range, and heavy duty in this category means something specific: it removes what ordinary soap cannot.

Ordinary soap works on water-miscible soil. Paint, ink, resin, adhesive, tar, and cured coatings are not that — they are bonded to the skin, and soap simply does not touch them. So people reach for solvent, and that is where the damage happens: thinner, acetone, and petrol strip the skin's own lipid barrier along with the contamination. The hands get clean and the skin is destroyed, and industrial dermatitis is one of the most common occupational illnesses there is.

A heavy-duty hand cleaner is formulated to lift that soil while remaining a skin product rather than a solvent. It is the alternative to the thinner can, and its whole purpose is to make the thinner can unnecessary.

The 250 ml tube is a personal issue size — a tube in a toolbox rather than a dispenser on a wall. For workers away from a washroom, that is the difference between using a cleaner and using whatever is in the van.

Applications include painting, printing, resin work, and automotive.
