Santa Fe Dehumidifier Accessory Hang Kit Small

The Santa Fe 4036695 is a small hanging kit accessory, supplying the brackets and hardware required to suspend a compatible Santa Fe dehumidifier from floor joists or overhead structure.

Suspended installation is the preferred arrangement in most crawl spaces and many basements, and the reasons are practical. Mounting the unit off the floor keeps it clear of standing water and flooding, which is a real risk in exactly the spaces that need dehumidification. It preserves floor area in a basement or mechanical room. It simplifies condensate drainage by providing the elevation needed to run a gravity drain line to a suitable termination without a condensate pump. And in a crawl space it places the unit where ducted supply and return connections can be routed sensibly.

Hanging kits are matched to specific dehumidifier models, since bracket spacing, mounting point locations, and load rating are determined by the unit's chassis and weight. The small kit designation corresponds to the smaller units in the range.

Structural attachment is the installer's responsibility. Fasten to solid framing capable of carrying the operating weight of the unit plus any accumulated condensate, and account for vibration isolation where the mounting structure is adjacent to occupied space.

Applications include crawl space, basement, and mechanical room dehumidifier installations in residential and light commercial buildings. Verify model compatibility before ordering.
