The Honeywell Miller SPARDT-QC/UBK is a Revolution harness with quick-connect leg buckles, a universal full body design with a stand-up D-ring, large to X-large.

The stand-up D-ring is the specification and it solves a genuinely annoying problem that has a safety consequence.

The dorsal D-ring sits between the shoulder blades, which is where a fall arrest connection belongs — it keeps the body upright during arrest and it is out of the way during work. It is also somewhere a person cannot see or easily reach. On a conventional harness the D-ring lies flat against the back, and connecting to it means fishing behind yourself blind, or asking a colleague, or taking the harness off.

A stand-up D-ring is held upright by a spring or a shaped pad. It stays proud of the back, so a snap hook goes on one-handed by feel.

That matters because a worker who cannot connect easily is a worker who connects late, or works unconnected for the first few minutes, or ties off to something convenient instead.

The quick-connect leg buckles serve the same principle: a harness that is fast to put on correctly gets put on correctly.

Two rules regardless. A harness that has arrested a fall is destroyed, not reinspected. And suspension trauma can be fatal within minutes — a rescue plan is mandatory, not optional.
