Description
This version of the Seiko SLP850 2-inch label printer is the US model with serial and USB interfaces, printing at 300 dpi. The serial port is the distinguishing feature and is often a requirement rather than a preference: many scales, laboratory instruments, industrial controllers and legacy point-of-sale systems drive a printer over RS-232, and a USB-only unit cannot be dropped into those installations. The 300 dpi print head produces sharp small text, barcodes and 2D codes on compact labels.
