Mars Fuse Cartridge 30A 82138

The Mars 82138 is a 30 amp cartridge fuse for branch circuit and equipment protection in HVAC, refrigeration, and general electrical distribution.

Cartridge fuses are the standard overcurrent device in fused disconnect switches, safety switches, and fuse blocks serving mechanical equipment. The cylindrical body seats in spring clips or bolted terminals, providing a secure, low-resistance connection that tolerates the thermal cycling normal to motor loads. Compared with plug fuses, cartridge construction offers higher interrupting ratings and a much wider range of amperage and voltage classes.

At 30 amps, this fuse typically protects smaller condensing units, fan and pump motors, control transformers, heater circuits, and equipment subfeeds.
