The Mars M82047 is a 100 amp, 250 volt cartridge fuse for feeder and large branch circuit protection in commercial and industrial distribution.

At 100 amps, this fuse sits at the feeder level rather than serving individual small loads. Typical placement is protecting distribution subpanels, large compressor and motor circuits, commercial rooftop packaged equipment, and refrigeration rack feeds. The 250 volt rating covers single phase 120/240 volt services and 240 volt three phase systems widely used in light commercial and industrial buildings.

Fuses at this amperage level are physically larger, generally bolt-mounted or seated in heavy-duty clips, and carry substantially higher interrupting ratings than small control-circuit devices.
