JET JET140019 PUC-3725 Resin Utility Cart Overall Size 37 x 25 x

The JET JET140019 is a PUC-3725 resin utility cart, overall size 37 x 25 inches, with 5 inch wheels and a 550 lb capacity, in gray.

Resin construction is the specification that defines where this cart belongs, and the reasoning is straightforward. A steel cart is stronger and it rusts, dents, and conducts. A resin cart does none of those. It will not corrode in a wash-down area, it will not mark the parts placed on it, and it will not react with the chemicals a shop spills on it. For food, chemical, medical, and wet environments, resin is the correct material rather than the cheap one.

The 550 lb capacity is substantial for a resin cart and it is worth reading as a total across the whole cart rather than per shelf.

The 5 inch wheels are the specification most people ignore and then regret. Wheel diameter determines what a cart can roll over — small wheels stop dead at a threshold, a cable, or a floor joint, and a loaded cart that stops dead while its operator does not is how people get hurt. Five inches clears the obstacles a real shop floor presents.

At 37 x 25 inches the footprint suits a working aisle.

Applications include workshops, manufacturing, laboratories, healthcare, food service, and general facilities.
