Hailiang Copper Roll 3/4 V-HLS-100-0750

The Hailiang V-HLS-100-0750 is a coil of 3/4 inch soft copper tubing supplied for refrigeration, air conditioning, and general tubing applications.

Soft, annealed copper is supplied in coils and can be bent by hand or with a bender, which makes it suited to runs that must follow an irregular route or pass through existing structure. Hard drawn copper, supplied in straight lengths, is stiffer and generally requires fittings at every direction change.

The trade off is that soft copper is easier to damage. It kinks readily if bent too tightly without a bender, and a kinked tube is permanently restricted. It also flattens under clamping pressure and dents easily during handling.

Uncoiling requires the same care as any coiled tubing. The coil should be unrolled along its length rather than having loops pulled off a stationary coil, which twists the tube and encourages kinking.

For refrigerant service, tubing must be ACR grade, supplied clean and capped or nitrogen charged, and the caps should stay on until the moment of connection. Copper sold for plumbing is not prepared to that standard and must not be substituted, since its internal residues enter the refrigerant circuit.

Confirm tube size, wall thickness, temper, and grade against the application before ordering. Use a bender for tight radii, and support the installed run at appropriate intervals.
