Furuno 585-RAM-MNT Overhead RAM Mount

Furuno supplies the Overhead RAM Mount under part number 585-RAM-MNT, catalogued within mounts and brackets. Functionally, the part is concerned with holding equipment securely in the position where it can actually be seen and reached. Shipping weight is recorded as 2 lbs. Correct installation and periodic inspection are what determine how the part performs over a full season. The item is catalogued as Mounts & Brackets within Electronics Mounts & Enclosures. It is supplied by Furuno as a distinct catalogue item rather than as a substitute for a similar model, so the part number 585-RAM-MNT should be matched exactly when ordering a replacement.
